Resort Investment Opportunities

The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) has announced today investment opportunities for foreign and local investors interested in developing and operating tourist resorts in the Maldives. MoT has published an Invitation for Bids (IFB) including a list of 18 available islands.  

Further details of the bidding process including the minimum lease acquisition cost (LAC) set for the bid of each island will be announced in the days to come.
